About Bookfynder

Bookfynder started from a simple problem: I'd finish a book, open Goodreads to find the next one, and end up scrolling for twenty minutes without finding anything that actually matched what I just enjoyed. Star ratings and bestseller lists weren't telling me what I would like — just what was popular.

So I built the thing I wanted: an app that actually looks at what you've read and rated, and recommends from there — swipe right to save, left to move on, no scrolling required.

I'm a self-taught web developer with a genuine passion for programming and reading, and Bookfynder is where those two things meet. I built this on my own, end to end— which also means it's a real, living project, not an abandoned side experiment. If something's broken or missing, I'm the one who'll fix it.
